Typical profile
In a team
In a team, you're often the one throwing in new ideas, and your enthusiasm gets everyone else going too. You work best next to someone who likes planning and finishing things: you bring the direction, they bring the schedule. It helps to jot your ideas down briefly, so others can build on them.
Studying and exam season
You learn most easily when the topic grabs you and you can see how it links to other things; cramming bores you fast. In exam season, break the material into small chunks and give each one a short deadline. If something exciting pops into your head mid-session, write it on a sticky note and come back to it once you're done.
Under stress
What wears you down most is doing the same thing for too long, or every deadline landing at once. It helps to split a big task into small steps you can tick off, and to cross out what's done where you can see it. A walk or a short creative break can also bring your energy back quickly.
Growth tips
- Before you start something new, finish at least one thing you've already started: finished projects look good on your CV too.
- Pick one simple system (calendar, to-do list, reminders) and check it for two minutes every evening.
- Team up with someone who's good with details, and ask them to give you a nudge when something starts slipping.
For your first student job
- If you can, look for work where tasks and places change, like events, promotions or content creation.
- In your first weeks, learn how things are usually done before you suggest changes: people will be much more open to them.
- Set reminders for your shifts and deadlines until you find your rhythm.
