The six areas
Six interest areas, one three-letter code.
In Holland’s model, interests fall into six areas. Your three strongest make up your code.
Realistic · The Doer
You like work with results you can actually touch.
Investigative · The Researcher
You always want to know why.
Artistic · The Creator
You love creating something new and your own.
Social · The Helper
A good day is one when you got to help someone.
Enterprising · The Initiator
Give you a goal, and you're already organizing.
Conventional · The Organizer
You like it when every piece of data is in its place.
Good to know.
What does this test measure?
Your interests: how much different activities appeal to you. John Holland's career-interest model describes six areas: Realistic, Investigative, Artistic, Social, Enterprising and Conventional, RIASEC for short. You get a score from 0 to 100 in each area, showing how much, on average, you'd enjoy that area's activities. It doesn't measure ability, knowledge or personality.
How do I read my three-letter Holland code?
The code is the letters of your three highest-scoring areas, from highest down: SEA, for example, means Social interests you most, then Enterprising, then Artistic. If two areas are less than 10 points apart, their order is uncertain, so look at the swapped code too; if two scores are exactly equal, the RIASEC order decides. On Holland's hexagon (R–I–A–S–E–C, then back to R), neighboring letters stand for related interests and opposite ones (R–S, I–E, A–C) for more distant ones. If your code has both, that's fine: you're just interested in many different things.
Is this an aptitude test?
No. It shows what interests you, not what you're good at, and it doesn't decide what you're suited for. You can apply for any job, and most student jobs can be learned by anyone. Your interests can still shift between 16 and 25, so treat the result as a starting point, not a verdict. Some jobs require you to be 18+.
Who can see my results?
Only you: your browser calculates the scores, your answers are never sent to our server, and they stay on this device until you delete them. We don't share them with employers or partner companies, and we don't use them to decide who gets a job.
How scientific is this test?
Holland's RIASEC model is the most widely used framework for career interests. This questionnaire is Tudatos Diák's own set of statements built on that model, with activities close to student jobs (8 per area); it is still being validated and there are no norms yet. So your score shows how much you liked each area's activities, not how you compare with others.
Our own questionnaire based on Holland’s RIASEC model (Holland, 1997), under validation; no norms yet. A self-knowledge questionnaire, not an aptitude test, and not suitable for selection decisions.
