Question 1

What is a student cooperative?

Accepted Answer

A student cooperative is a special cooperative form created by full-time students to provide work opportunities for its members. Tudatos Diák Student Cooperative handles workforce placement, administration, and legal compliance.

Question 2

How does it differ from temporary staffing agencies?

Accepted Answer

A student cooperative is not a temporary staffing agency! Students are members of the cooperative, not employees. The key difference is the tax exemption: student cooperative employment is exempt from social security tax and personal income tax, which can mean up to 40% cost savings for companies compared with a full-time employee over 25 earning the same net wage.

Question 3

What is TudatOS?

Accepted Answer

TudatOS is Tudatos Diák's proprietary digital platform that manages the entire employment process: candidate search, work scheduling, attendance tracking, payroll processing, and reports — all in one place, in real-time.

Question 4

How do you handle data protection?

Accepted Answer

We fully comply with GDPR and Hungarian data protection laws (Infotv.). Our detailed privacy policy is available on our website. We only process personal data to the extent necessary for providing our services.

Question 5

Do you have customer support?

Question 7

What experience do you have?

Question 8

How reliable are the student workers?

Accepted Answer

We ensure quality through multi-level, automated pre-screening — scoring, knock-out criteria and application questions — and training. Our reference and rating systems guarantee a reliable workforce. If any issues arise, we provide immediate replacement.

Question 9

What is the service fee?

Accepted Answer

In 2026 our fee is HUF 330 or HUF 382 per hour on top of the student's wage, depending on the package you choose. This is the statutory minimum, tied to the current minimum wage. Recruitment is free of charge, and there are no hidden costs. Request a custom quote for an exact calculation!

Question 10

Is the employment really tax-free?

Accepted Answer

Yes! Employment of full-time students through a student cooperative is exempt from the 18.5% social security contribution and the 13% social contribution tax, and students under 25 pay no personal income tax either. This can mean up to 40% savings on labor costs compared with a full-time employee over 25 earning the same net wage.

Question 11

How quickly can you provide candidates?

Accepted Answer

We start recruiting right after signing and receiving your requirements, and send the first pre-screened candidates within a few hours. Thanks to our 20,000+ candidate database and automated processes, selection is fast and efficient.

Do I have any obligations as a client company?

Accepted Answer

The client company has no employment obligations towards the students — we take full responsibility for that. You only need to provide working conditions and pay the service fee.

Accepted Answer

The fee includes recruitment, selection, employment contract management, tax authority registration, payroll processing, salary payment, occupational safety training, and full administration. We also provide monthly reports and a dedicated contact person.

We invoice monthly based on actually worked hours. Attendance sheets are recorded and approved digitally through the TudatOS platform.

We provide immediate replacement, without penalty. Our goal is long-term satisfaction, so when selecting candidates, we consider previous experience and evaluations.
