Trial day — a paid, registered trial shift

See them at work before you decide — lawfully, with no admin.

A trial day is a 4–8 hour paid and registered working day on which you see the candidate in action before hiring them for longer. You publish slots with headcount and hourly wage, candidates book them, and Tudatos Diák handles the contract, the tax-authority registration and — where the role requires it — the occupational health check. After the trial day the decision is one click: continue working together or not.

A pilot module, enabled per partner and per job ad. There is no separate trial-day fee: the hours worked go into the regular monthly billing.

Who is it for?

  • Hospitality, retail, warehouse and customer-facing roles where attitude at work tells you more than an interview.
  • Companies with high early attrition, where the candidate also wants to try the job.

How does it work?

  1. 1

Switch it on for the job ad

Two modes: only candidates you select can book, or every applicant right after applying.

  2. 2

    Publish slots

Date, start and end, headcount, hourly wage, address and meeting point, contact person, "what to bring". Slots can be duplicated. Booking closes 2 working days ahead so that registration is guaranteed.

  3. 3

    Booking and reminders

The student books a slot and gets a reminder the day before. You receive a roster of the next day's trial workers — showing whose registration is in order. An unregistered student cannot be put to work.

  4. 4

    Attendance and decision

After the trial day you mark who showed up and how many hours they worked, then decide: "We would continue" or "We will not continue". If you continue, we handle the contract; if not, we deregister the student as of the trial day.

★★★★★
We began working with the Tudatos Diák student cooperative in 2021. Partner companies choose them primarily for two reasons: client-focused administration and remarkably low service fees. Over the past four years, both have been fully delivered throughout the cooperation with the Continental Group units. The cooperative's contact people responded kindly and quickly to any question almost without exception, and always strove to find the most suitable solution. The process of recruiting and employing students is simple, transparent and predictable.
